    If youre serious about getting fit and seeking help to reach your goals, Sonja is the person you need to call. Never done pilates? Doesnt matter I hadnt either. Thinking pilates might not be for you? Wrong I thought so too. Feeling out of shape? Doesnt matter so was I, due to injury. Never had a trainer and vaguely uncomfortable with it? Youll get over that the moment you meet Sonja I did. Heres why. Sonja has something special about her. Yes, shes a great instructor and knows A TON about pilates, about human anatomy and the science of getting fit. But theres loads of instructors with those qualities. What sets Sonja apart is what she brings to each session with you: her enthusiasm for your workout, your body, your mood and what you need from training that day. She plans a road map for each session but shes genius at adapting to your circumstances when you arrive. Shes an incredible motivator who by her presence, her words and subtle touch manages to get more out of you than you thought you could possibly give. Ive played a dozen sports, from football and basketball to boxing and ultimate frisbee and Ive trained hard with teammates, coaches and sports trainers. But at 53 years old Ive never been in better overall physical condition than I am now, and doing pilates with Sonja has been a huge part of getting me here. Call her now. Youll be glad you did!

    Sonja is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and encouraging. She has taught me so much about my body. I have learned how to resolve the lower back pain and pelvic muscle weakness that I have experienced since having children. Even though I have worked out my whole life, I now understand how to use my breath and core muscles to improve my posture, stress, and exercise.

    After coming off a knee injury from surfing I happened upon Sonjas foundation to fit class. Not only is my knee recovery going really well Ive noticed my surfing has improved and my core strength is the best its been in a long while.

I really appreciate the time she takes to provide corrections because it has helped me with a previous injury. I definitely recommend Sonja Lyth Fitness.
