The caregivers I have received for my mom have been very helpful and kind to her. The only complaint I have is that several caregivers do not show up on time. One time someone was an hour and a half late. Someone also left early before the shift was supposed to be completed. Another day it was so late in the morning that I cancelled help for that day. Unfortunately I feel like I can't always depend on having someone when needed. Also, I have been given different caregivers over the last month and a half. This makes it awkward because I have to train someone different a few times a week on where mom's personal supplies are, how to prepare mom's breakfast, and where things are in the kitchen. I need consistency and reliability. This whole experience has been frustrating more than pleasant. I may consider no longer having any caregivers and just try my best to care for my mom by myself. I do thank the manager for being sympathetic about my situation and for trying to accommodate for my needs.

Ive been using First Light Home Care for about a year now to assist me in caring for my mother who has dementia. Ive been very pleased with their services and their caregivers. The Operations Manager, Joyce, responds to my calls quickly and has always come through for me, even on very short notice. Ive worked with several different caregivers and theyve all been experienced, reliable and, most importantly, caring and patient with my mother. I highly recommend First Light to anyone seeking a caregiver and I plan to continue using them for all of our home health aide needs.

Jacqueline and Joyce were my light in the darkness. After having lots of back and forth with the insurance company, doctor's office, and hospital, I felt lost in my search to obtain home health care for my mother after her full knee replacement surgery. In my last ditch efforts to find someone to help (and resigning to paying out of pocket for a while), I found FirstLight and they were available to schedule someone in a couple of days. I am so grateful - thank you!

I needed a Home Health provider to help my family with care for my father. This was a limited service for my father because family members are living with him. We needed someone to come in and help with his showers. FirstLight offers this service and it worked out perfectly. Now were looking for having someone come in from time to time to sit with my father while family members leave for an event or maybe vacation, FirstLight also offers this service for a minimum 6hrs a day. The staff that has come in are very professional and take my fathers needs seriously. He is pleased with the help they provide. September 22, 2022 I wanted to give a progress update on FirstLight. I have been the go to person for FirstLight to contact for my fathers needs. I have to say when there is a change with the regular person that helps my father with his showers Joyce the Operations Manager is quick to respond and makes sure my father has someone to help him. August 15, 2023 If you ever have a question about who you would need to help you with your loved one. This review is sincere and honest. With the limited service Firstlight gave to my father it showed the capability they would have for more if needed. There were a few occasions that I might have needed extra service for my father and Joyce did not hesitate to help me find someone to assist my father. My father would compliment from time to time on the staff that would come out and help him with his showering needs. My father has since passed but he never complained about the service he received from the staff at Firstlight. I want to say my deepest thanks to Firstlight.
