        I tried to get an account but I don't know enough about myself. So now that I moved I went back in person. Doors were locked nobody answered the phone but if you stand in the heat for 15 min maybe someone will come out. Please write NO NEW CUSTOMERS ALLOWED on your door because that's what it feels like.

        The motto is really true, it is the World's Greatest Bank. When, in this day and age, can you walk into a financial institution where they bother to remember your name and greet you when you come in to do business? Umpqua has been amazing. I banked formerly with WestAmerica for my small business, and realize now that I paid a lot of money to be treated like trash. At WestAmerica I couldn't even have an ATM card to make after-hours deposits unless I wanted to pay a fee for it. At Umpqua I get not only an ATM VISA card that allows me to pay for business purchases directly from my account, I have free checking materials, I get my questions answered and receive guidance from the bank staff. I was offered an equity line of credit that once paid for an emergency purchase of a computer when ours failed.....I know that if I have questions about managing money I will get honest answers. They even met with me to give advice on managing business debt as wisely as possible...I can't go on and on enough about the friendly service. I am just a little account, yet I am treated as though I matter....if you aren't using this bank, you are missing out.
