Apple Valley Pediatrics

After switching Pediatricians twice before and becoming VERY discouraged with the lack of proper medical care for my children this office has exceeded my expectations. Theyre friendly, thorough and take time to ensure each child is cared for in their own way. Dr. Beadle has been amazing to us in her short time at this office and we feel confident in her knowledge and care. Ive watched people storm into this office and treat those girls at the front like complete trash, yet the girls always show so much grace. Not every parent behaves as well as their toddler. ;) From the front desk to the Doctor, everyone here is professional and knowledgable. Thank you for taking care of our children so well.

My son had his first appointment a few months ago and he was a new pt to the office. Dr. Beadley just took a quick look at him less than 10 min and said he was perfectly fine. No blood work was suggested no medical history nothing. I called a few days later to get blood work order since this office had no history or ANY medical records form his previous pediatrician even though I signed the medical release forms and they should have requested it from the previous Dr. They denied me a blood order & stated the Dr. Does not require any blood work until the child is 11 years old.. I found this very disturbing, because how is a Dr. going to know if theres something wrong with the patient if theres no blood work done they kept trying to avoid me getting the blood order until I kept insisting and I got upset and they put me on hold and stated that the doctor was only doing an exception this time, but that there will not be any future blood order sent out until the patient who is six years old at this time turns 11 that is very unprofessional . Once a blood work was done, and the office had the results they called and stated my son was perfectly fine I I do know how to read labs since I work in the medical field and he was absolutely not OK. I took my son to a different pediatrician down the hill, and they stated that whoever treated him was planning on neglecting my child due to the blood results. We all have different opinions and experiences that we get at certain places, but I would definitely not be taking my son back to this office. Ive heard a lot of bad reviews on this particular doctors office, but yet I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I will not be trusting them with my son. also, when I called to get a copy of my sons lab results, they denied access for me to get a hold of them. They said they had to get the doctors permission even though the doctor had already signed off on them, and they had given me a call with the results. I told them I can pick them up and they told me they were not able to give me a copy. I asked them if the labs were OK and they reassured me they were so I asked them why was there a problem with me getting a copy of the lab results they told me they do not give copies to the patients. I thought this was very odd and since I have access to the lab at work, I went ahead and told him I will be downloading a copy from the labs website. That is very unprofessional that I was not able to get a hold. Of my sons lab results. Very upset with the way everything turned out with this office.

Doctor Bonilla was AMAZING very impressed with his bedside manner he did a wonderful job talking my 5 year old through his visit. Would recommend him to all. My little says he gets 6 stars!!!
