Ken the River Pirate is truly a living legend when it comes to fishing on the Sacramento River. My son and I have fished with Ken many times over the past 16 years for salmon, stripers and sturgeon. He is not just a fishing guide but a really nice guy and great friend who goes all out to make sure your day on the water is as productive and enjoyable as possible. Ken is very knowledgeable about each species, their habitat and what works that day even under not so ideal fishing conditions. Look no further. Ken is definitely the best when it comes to fishing on the Sacramento River!

The River Pirate is one of the best Sacramento River fishing guides. One day we hit the water a little late. There were 3 of us fishing. We landed 7 King Salmon by 11 am. They were all over 40 lbs. We couldn't get the last one in the bait well. Probably the best fishing day of my life. I really enjoy his back trolling technique. There is nothing like feeling the strike and setting the hook. If your looking for an experienced guide, look no further, Ken is the best all around guide. From Sturgeon, Striped Bass, American Shad, trophy Rainbow Trout and big King Salmon the Sacramento River has it all. The record Sacramento Chinook Salmon record is 88 lbs, dang!!!
