SCAM ARTISTS. These people are NOT Thailandies. They are from INDIA pretending to pass as Thai-Food. On top of that, they are charging $18 a dish of noodles or rice or entree. They have no shame. Lol. On top of that, it looks and feels like a complete abandoned building inside. Dark, broken, dusty tables, chairs, like no one has been there in ages. Behind all the rubble they have a stove and many microwaves. SCAM ARTISTS. I ran out as the person from India tried to sell me a free vacation. Sickening behavior.

I rarely write a negative review. However, this one did not meet our expectations. The Thai Basil Stir Fry, Green Curry, and Red Curry were very salty. I mean, salty! My husband and I wanted to enjoy our Friday night at home for having a long week with some Thai food, but was very dissatisfied with the food at this place. The curries had small pieces of meat that got lost in the sea of curry broth. Beware of the onion fillers. We paid $16.78/entry for what we got through Uber Eats. Yaiks!

If you're craving for some authentic home-cooked Thai food, I'd recommend giving Ladda Thai a try! Be sure to google Chups Virtual Food Court as they are one of the vendors under that social kitchen. You can order online on the Chups website or you can go in person and place your order at the tablet. I ordered online and it was pretty easy. They text you when they have received the order and when it is ready. It took about 25 minutes for my order to be ready but that was perfect for me as my food was already ready by the time I arrived. If you're unsure what to order for your first time, you really can't go wrong with the Pad See Ew or the Pineapple Fried Rice. I've also heard the Pad Thai is excellent so I look forward to ordering that during my next visit. || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are Lincoln Ave. and S. Westchester Dr. -Check for the sign in red font that says "Chups Social Kitchens" -Plenty of parking spaces in the lot although it may be difficult to find parking if there is an event at the Chups Social Kitchen. There is plenty of street parking nearby though. || F O O D || Pad See Ew (Beef) $12.98 - Comes with your choice of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp for an additional $2.00 or Tofu for additional $1.00). I opted for beef and noticed that the beef came in cubes which was a little different to me as other Thai places that I've gone to and they use sliced beef. Initially, I was afraid that if the beef cubes were overcooked, it would make it too dry, but surprisingly, it was very tender. However, I'm not sure if it would be the same case if you had leftovers and had to reheat it. Flavor wise, it delivered and satisfied my pad see ew cravings. The best part is that you can actually taste a bit of wok hei which gives the dish a smoky flavor. Now if the wok hei flavor can be a little stronger, this dish will be superior. I also liked how the noodles weren't oily like other places that I've had. Pineapple Fried Rice (Beef) $13.98 - Comes with your choice of protein ((chicken, beef, shrimp for an additional $2.00 or Tofu for additional $1.00) and you can also add a fried egg for an additional $2.00. I opted for the beef without the fried egg and kindly requested to remove the cashew nuts from the pineapple fried rice due to allergies. They have a section for special requests should you not want a certain ingredient to be in the dish. Although I'm missing the nutty flavor in the fried rice, I felt like the other ingredients in the fried rice made up for it. I appreciated it was more of a savory flavor even though it did have pineapples so it felt more balanced to me. The curry powder was subtle so I liked that as well. It also came with a condiment in the event you wanted to adjust the flavor to your liking. This also has a smoky flavor from wok hei and it really elevated the fried rice. I'd say it was stronger than the smoky flavor on the pad see ew so this was probably my favorite! Tom Yum $13.98 - Comes with your choice of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp for an additional $2.00 or tofu for an additional $1.00) It could use more acidity as there was a stronger tomato flavor, but they provided limes on the side which brought the acidity level to my liking. I would highly recommend it if they could store the soup in a takeout container that is suitable for soups to avoid spillage.
