It is a great place to go to while learning to become an unsighted person and still live and survive independently.

I've been going to Braille on and off over the years, especially during the early 2000s when I was first part of the youth program. At least I can say that I cherish those memories from when I was a kid, but to be honest, I don't like braille for what it is today. As for the adult program, I'm treated like a prime target by certain people who want to drag me down. I've also been wanting to volunteer, which I had somewhat of a chance to do 3 years ago after one of the teachers retired. Other people were leaving too, I assume on their own, so I was helping out. Unfortunately, it only lasted five and a half months, and some of the staff made it seem like I was doing something wrong. I was just trying to do something to better myself and to serve the community. It's not my fault that people who used to work there decided to leave from left to right. I'm currently looking into other organizations. Hopefully, someone else can give me a chance.
