Wonderful plant nursery, highly recommend it! The camellia selection is incredible, and the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. I was initially nervous to mail a check, but it's been a smooth process every time - they always call to confirm all the details and set a shipping date that works for me. I was surprised by how large some of the shipped plants are for the price, especially compared with many other camellia retailers. I was lucky enough to visit the nursery in person for the first time a few weeks ago, and I had a fantastic time! The owners were kind enough to give me a tour of all the plants I was interested in, including higo camellias, wabisuke camellias, yellow hybrid camellias, and species camellias. I think they do this for everyone who visits, as time allows. It's a very special place!

Probably the largest nursery for Camellia and Azalea in USA. The nursery dated back to 1940s. The signature Camellia trees almost 80 years old. They are literally trees not shrubs. They cultivated their own brands and are so famous in California. A lot of group orders come from out of LA areas, especially San Jose. Sadly, I heard the owner plans to retire, probably the nursery would change somehow. If you like Camellia or Azalea, you should act quick. They have best prices! If you can large shrubs here with price for medium elsewhere! We came out with medium camellia shrubs of their own brand Nuccios pearl maxwell with flower buds. Just remember to bring cash or check if you want to pay when you buy. They can also do mail bill. Jim told us the largest one will come to bloom in one week. You know what, it did in just one week! We also got cheatsheet on how to take care of your camellia and azalea. You cannot expect more curing place than this! On Sunday afternoon, just come and take a walk, feel the air and flowers!

Wonderful place. One of the top purveyors of camellias and azaleas in the world. Huntington, Descanso, Smithsonian, gardens in Europe, Martha Stewart, everyone who knows camellias knows Nuccios. They dont use computers, but are deeply knowledgeable about their plants, they are perhaps some the best in the world at their craft. Deeply respected by camellia organizations around the world. Just go for the stroll, talk To Jim and Tom. Theyll spend a half hour with you if theyre not busy. Will answer every question and will crack a wry joke. Again, just check them out, although its almost impossible not to walk out with something. This place is legendary and historic, deserving of a documentary. When its gone, the area, and California as a whole, will have lost part of its soul.
