Altadena Recovery Center

well i came there worried i was not gonna be able to pee because my friend told me they watch so i was a little nervous but the staff got me to pee by telling me take your time and offering me water. thank you for giving me a chance.

I happen to be in the area visiting my brother in Altadena and came across the center by chance. Being new to the area can be quite a challenge and it's a wonderful discovery. Its rather small, a few offices and handful of staff There is a Large room in the back for larger groups and meetings as well. Overall a cozy warm and inviting atmosphere. What makes this place stand out though are the people whose work there, both Carl and Maryland have been extraordinarily helpful and and I'm quite grateful and delighted for the bonds and friendships created since coming around. The one who person that makes this place so unique and special is Shirly. An exceptional woman with infinite capabilities and resources. I'm undeniably and throughly indebted to her. Please be kind to yourself and come meet with her even if it's a minor issue you may be dealing with, she has solutions for far many more issues and problems than you might think you might have. Easy Five Stars!

There is no better place to even WANT to get and stay clean. Ms Shirley and her staff are very knowledgeable, kind, patient and always ready to help you peel your onion apart. I can't say enough praises!

This place is the best place to work on yourself. They are truly a blessing, each and every one of the team. Ms. Shirley is patience and kindness stepped right out of the dictionary. They give you space to go at your own speed. You will get out of the program whatever it is you seek. Do the work, even the hard stuff. With a team like the Altadena Recovery team, you cant go wrong. Thank you Ms. Shirley!!
