I recently applied for medical school. Melody and Jonathan were very encouraging and helpful in helping me write my personal statement! They taught me how to write in ways I'd never thought of before! Would recommend!

Jonathan and Melody have tremendously helped my son during the 2019 academic year. They inform, collaborate, and motivate the student to set goals, train, and execute to meet them. They have assisted him with test prep, application composition, essay writing, and college selection. They are very organized and they facilitate an organized program for the student. They each have a professional relatioship with my son as an individual. It was a huge relief for me when I hired them, and the process has been great.

Ucan Prep! I have been fortunate and blessed to have met Melody & Jonathan Mitchell. If you are looking for a team of people that have core values of integrity and good character, you have found them. They are the real deal, as someone said. And having them alongside your son/daughter in their journey from high school to college is something I would have wanted sooner than later (I came in a little later in the journey for my own son). As my twin daughters junior year approached, we started the search for a tutoring center to prepare them for the PSAT and SAT. We narrowed it down to UCAN, based on reviews and a peer recommendation. When I contacted UCAN to inquire about their services, Melody set up a diagnostic test for our girls. That was followed by a meeting in which we were informed, in great detail, on what the UCAN method entailed. After some thought, we decided to sign them up. Our girls began their test prep sessions this past summer. In only several months, they both have increased their SAT scores by 200 points! We are certain that their gains will continue. Jonathan, Melody, and Taner are all expert tutors who have guided my girls in the right direction. The UCAN way demands dedication, but it is well worth the time and effort. If youre looking for a tutoring center to prepare your child for the SAT or PSAT and have a child thats willing to commit to the program, then UCAN is the place for you.

My twins who will be seniors in high school has been working with UCAN since December 2017. They have been going every Saturday for ACT or SAT prep and also working with UCAN on college planning. One of my kids is taking the SAT and one is taking the ACT and they have been going to the group classes. They have both made significant progress in their scores and we are very well positioned now to be applying for colleges in the fall. Jonathan, Melody, and Taner are all very dedicated to helping them and know thoroughly how to motivate kids to make the specific efforts that will not only improve their scores but teach them how to market themselves and manage their time. It is not just a job for them but a calling, and I can see this in how they interact with the kids and me. We are in the middle of the college planning process and the experienced coaching they offer allows me to hand over the reigns to them as they plan out the steps well in advance so that this process is achieved in plenty of time without a last minute rush. I wholeheartedly recommend UCAN to any level high school student applying to college.
