        marvelous! I would get up very early and drive an hour here to queue up to buy bread, croissants, egg tarts, and crepes! I have been here many times, basically no surprises, everything is delicious~~~~ Note: When I bought the Kings Pie before, there were no porcelain dolls in it!

      Thank you very much! We put whole almonds rather than porcelain figurines (or fèves) in our Galettes des Rois as many people here do not know of this French tradition and could break their teeth on them.

      Hi Alice. Sorry for the frustration, but unsure what you want us to do. As you indicate, our pastries are very popular and we will often run out early as a result. Are we to be penalized for this? We cannot possibly make more than the 800+ pieces we make. We are simply too small a bakery. We have previously tried limiting purchases but this didn’t work as it was too contentious and wasted time. If you’d come in today and voiced your concern we’d have given you the option of pre-ordering. It’s the best we can offer in such circumstances, but why give a two star review for something that is clearly beyond our control?
