Andrew Slakey, the owner of Visiting Angels, came to our home to do an intake interview. He was personable, answered all our questions, and met our needs. The two caregivers he sent, LaSeanda and Laura B., were pleasant to be around, efficient and very helpful. Would recommend this service to others and use it again.

Visiting Angels of Alameda made the process of selecting the best care for my mom, easy and obvious. Their sincere process and communication skills brought us all, much comfort. They treated my mom with respect and included her in all the planning conversations, earnestly and with purpose, which we appreciated very much. The team at Visiting Angels is beyond perfection. Andrew, Heleine and Cindy were each models of total client-focus and answered all our questions with professionalism and with this very natural and much appreciated, beautiful kindness. These are tough discussions and tough decisions that loved ones are tasked with making and Alameda Visiting Angels made us feel understood and valued which helped us make important and the best decisions about my moms care.

Just wanted to say, Visiting Angels are truly Angels. After struggling with another Homecare Company, we switched to Visiting Angels about 6 months ago. It by far, has been the best thing for my 94 yr old Mother and our family. My Mom's primary caregiver, Laura is awesome, wonderful, caring, compassionate and considerate. She works with our family and takes terrific care of my Mom. Contrary to popular belief having a in-home caregiver gives the senior more freedom to do what they would like to do, because they have somebody there. With Lyft or Uber available they are free to go places and do things outside their home also. Thank you Visiting Angels and Laura for making all this available to us.

As an employee of Visiting Angels Alameda, working as a Caregiver in the organization has been a wonderful experience for me right from the beginning. The Owner of the company, Andrew, and all the office staff are friendly, understanding and patient. Andrew is always appreciative of one's good performance and ready to look for solutions to the issues I have. The office staff are ever ready to explain and answer any questions that I have. The great training given to me at the recruitment gave me additional knowledge, skill and confidence to enhance my passion for caregiving and resulted in clients satisfaction and my own job fulfilment. My co-caregivers are very cooperative and nice. I love being an angel! It's really exciting to work in a positive atmosphere with the wonderful Visiting Angels Family!
