        Very poor security. My boat was recently stolen from a slip directly in front of the Ballena Marina Safe Harbor offices. If you own an outboard engine boat, do not use this Marina. You should also avoid leaving your boat at any Alameda or Oakland Estuary Marina. Police surveillance is essentially non-existent...only one cop for the entire area. Check news reports.
