Noteworthy details: Walking distance close to restaurants and grocery. Very convenient if visiting Alameda Point. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Free parking.

Great staff. Arrived at 1am, and the staff was super nice and helped me with everything. Definitely will stay there every time I visit. Rooms: Rooms are kept really clean, and they are decently big. Love the extra space.

Enjoy it while you can. This is a fairly standard hotel, but the location is outstanding - right downtown with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was sold recently and will be converted into some kind of housing or healthcare facility, maybe in early 2024. This is too bad, because most of the other hotels in Alameda are nowhere near downtown. And the staff are all helpful. It's a shame this hotel may be going away. I was in Alameda for work and staying here made my trip much more fun (March 2024 update: Staying here for the third time and I was told by the front desk that this will remain a hotel, it is NOT being converted to something else. This is great news - the location of this hotel is fantastic) Nearby activities: Lots of shops, bars and restaurants close by. Full-sized grocery store almost next door. And, as another review mentions, Wally's Corner bar is on the same block :-) Walkability: Right downtown
