        In the beginning of March, I filed my taxes with the help of Jackson Hewitt. The employees were nice and friendly. However, Its been almost 2 months now and I have not receive my State refund. I contacted the state office regarding my issue and some of the policies have changed. Refunds may take longer than usual due to identity theft and frauds. The state has taken extra security precautions to ensure that the refunds will be sent to the correct person. Fast forward to now, I decided to go through my paper work for any mistakes. I discovered spelling errors on my contact information. My home address was misspelled. The biggest mistake was my state deductions. The amount filed on my state tax deductible was not correct. This issue caused my expected refund amount to change by a lot! So after 2 months of waiting, my tax return will need to be amended and filed again. This just added another month or so of waiting which is ridiculous. Im not going to mentioned the employees name that helped me but I can tell you it was her first year working for JH so shes pretty much new and inexperienced.
