        Most of the time you can find anything you would like at reasonable prices. This place provides jobs for special needs people.

        Was by today dropping so items to donate and some recyclables. The employees came out and picked over what they wanted and left the rest which was not a problem. I had quite a bit of cardboard for recycling and was told it was further down. The employees returned to the store. I pulled down to some bins and started to unload when an assistant store manager came out and explained that the cardboard was around the corner (after we had unloaded over half of it). I was told this very rudely about four times. He then said it was ok and I asked if there was anything else. I was told I didnt need to argue. I will not donate or purchase from this place nor recommend it.

      Thank you for your review and feedback, Lucy. We always strive for a 5-star rating from all of our customers and are saddened when that is not the case. Unfortunately, expenses for continuing MARVA Workshop's purpose of providing meaningful work for adults with developmental disabilities has increased exponentially over the past several years. While we were able to get by for many, many years without raising prices much, it is simply not possible anymore. Everything that is done here at MARVA (accepting donations, stocking the shelves/racks, selling items, recycling, imprinting promotional items, etc.) supports our client-workers with disabilities. Even though items are donated, the sale of such items is what allows MARVA Workshop to keep it's doors open and to allow our client-workers to keep working each day like they love to do.
