    I recently rented a motorcycle trailer for one day. The customer service representatives were prompt, professional, and made sure I understood everything as part of my rental agreement and we're very quick to help me get connected to the trailer.

    I rented a storage unit at this location, 2301 S 8th St. Rogers, AR. I advised them on February 28, 2024, I would be moving out of the storage unit on March 2, 2024. I was told I would have to pay for the entire month of March regardless of when I moved out. I was told U-Haul doesn't pro-rate their charges. As I advised U-Haul, I moved everything out on March 2nd. After loading everything up, I went to the front desk and asked if there was anything I needed to sign or do before I leave the facility. The two male employees said, "No, there's nothing more you need to do." Today, March 30, 2024, I was charged for storage that I notified them on February 28th that I was moving out on March 2nd. I have been calling the U-Haul store since 10:47am, no response from the business. I keep getting sent to customer service. Each person I have spoken with sends the store a message and calls them, no response. It is almost 2pm while I'm writing this review. This is a complete lack of professionalism and poor customer service. There is no reasonable excuse for not returning a customer's call in a reasonable time frame. I was never late on the monthly charge, but they can't respond and refund me the amount taken out of my checking account today. The last customer service person I spoke with told me my account has never been closed out. There is no attention to detail at this U-Haul business. This business has no concern for their customers.

    I have no complaints about the pickup location. I do have a complaint about the reservation system. I called the local number for the location where I wanted to pick up the trailer. Of course, everyone is busy, so I'm transferred to a call center. Even though I've rented about a dozen times, they still had to get all my information again. Then, when I said I only needed the trailer for the day, and would pick up at 9 am, the person on the line gave me a 3pm return time. When I said that was too short, she said she would give me the daily rate, so I could return the following day at the same time, for the same price. Why even go through that step? Then they don't have any trailers at the location I want, at the time I want. It took a few minutes to get that figured out. Why not cover that first? Too remote, too complicated, and too disorganized, in my opinion. And of course, then the text message wanting me to verify everything before I leave the lot, even though they've just taken pictures of everything. I have to stop, allow location on my device etc. etc. It reminds me of a Mitch Hedberg routine. He buys a donut, they ask him if he wants a receipt. He says "I can't imagine a situation where I would need a receipt for a donut. I give you the money, you give me the donut. End of transaction."
