Walmart Health Center

I showed up 15 min early for my appointment although I had done all my paperwork online ahead of time. I ended up waiting 50 minutes to get in. The experience with the doctor was okay, not great. I went for dental and same sort of thing. The phone wait times when you call are TERRIBLE.

Daughter was sick and it was 45 mins to close and as we were walking to the clinic 2 nurses came out. We walked in and it wasnt busy, they said they had no providers and would be best if we went to elsewhere. Why stay open with no providers if you cant give provide any service? No reason to be open.

I hate doctors who immediately come in acting like you're a liar or something. Do I realize that having to go to an entirely different doctor for an a1c is ridiculous? Yes. Do I also realize that this needs to get done because my health is extremely important especially when it comes to diabetes? Also yes. I do not appreciate being told my health is not more important than whatever weird back and forth you wanna do with my pcp who didn't do my a1c. How about instead of coming in with accusations you come in with questions. I don't know anyone that would react well to the way I was just treated. When I get a new pcp, which yes I was looking for because I need health help, it certainly won't be here.

Typically, I have a good experience here except when I came to see np Nguyen. It was NOT a busy Saturday so you would think youd take your time to understand the patient. I did not feel like the issues were being well listened to at all when it came to a certain topic. Even saying if she did something she could loose her license maybe if she was actually listening to my needs the conversation wouldnt have gone there. I was paying without insurance and now I have to pay $135 for this experience and she knew that. What a joke. She was a grump and wanted to go in and out. Dont recommend booking with her.
