Our family recently traveled across the country so that our 13-year-old daughter could undergo surgery with Dr. Bolding. Her local prosthodontist had told us that working with him offered the best chance at a successful outcome. We found him to be kind and very patient and clear in explaining everything in a way that a layperson could understand. His staff also was excellent - empathetic and comforting to our daughter, and the office administrator was extremely organized, efficient, and helpful. We're grateful to be on the receiving end of such excellence.

I have had 2 jaw surgeries with Dr Bolding. June 2022, I opted for a repair the first time and due to my jaw issues it did not hold so on Sept 20, 2023, I had jaw joint replacement surgery. I am so thankful for Dr Bolding and his team. I already feel 100 times better than I have for years. My jaw is straight and secure. My recovery time was minimal. I received the best care I ever have from a doctor with Dr Bolding and his staff. THEY ARE AMAZING! They all play a part in your planning, surgery, recovery and after care. It was a process to get to where I am today, BUT totally worth it all! And Dr Bolding and his staff will help you every step of the way. I know them all by name and they know me-- Dr Bolding, Kyllie, Kaylee, Jose, Erin, Tory-- they have all worked hard for me as they do for all of their patients. Dr. Bolding is an amazing surgeon- I 100% would recommend choosing him for your dental / jaw needs. I would personally talk to anyone that had questions about my recommendations for Dr Bolding to share my story and how strongly I believe in the work Dr Bolding and his staff are doing for people. I am so thankful for all they've done to improve my quality of life! I will forever be grateful that Dr Bolding helped me- This jaw joint replacement surgery has been life changing for me. After having TMJ pain for years and doing several other treatments with no relief a friend recommended Dr Bolding. I am incredibly thankful for Dr Bolding and his staff! They are all incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I was seen fairly quickly and Bolding had a plan right away. I recently had my first jaw surgery to repair my jaw joints. Nearly all of my jaw pain is gone! I have one more surgery to reconstruct my jaw and I wouldnt trust anyone besides Dr Bolding. I would recommend him to anyone having any type of jaw pain.

When I had my TMJ surgery they were amazing. Fast forward to now. I've been in braces for 6 months. They were supposed to be helping me get insurance to cover jaw surgery I needed. Dr. Bolding decided to stop running insurances completely in Nov 2023. No one called to tell me about this occurrence ( I waited to call til the new year, because I know everyone rushes to get surgery in before the new year). Now I'm rushing to find a replacement Dr., because I was supposed to have surgery this summer. Without insurance, Dr. Bolding portion is about $50k, quoted by Jose his former insurance guy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bolding since 2012, when I was originally referred to him by my orthodontist. I was suffering from TMD/TMJ issues that stemmed from a car accident many years earlier and although I had been treated by multiple doctors using a multitude of methods, NOTHING had worked and my jaw would lock either open or shut, causing extreme nerve pain. Dr. Bolding fixed what I thought was completely unfixable. After suffering for the better part of my adult life, he gave me back my old self again and with that, the ability to smile, speak, and laugh again. I too have the same insurance that refuses to pay for any of the proceduresin fact, they told me that they would pay for the entire thing if I went to the Mayo Clinic, however I declined because this is MY DOCTOR, and therefore, MY DECISION to make. However, I was told that if I went back to my insurance and fought the claim, they would likely overturn the decision and pay, at least for a good portion.(Hopefully this helps others who find themselves in the same situation.) I REFUSE to be a number somewhere in a system where no one cares about me, because thats NOT how Dr. Bolding works. He, Kaylie, Tori, Jose, and everyone in the office are completely dedicated to their patients and their wellbeing. They save smiles, one person at a time.
