Honestly, if I could rate lower, I would. I am a previous resident at the Children's Homes in Paragould. Overall, my experience there was nothing short of a terrible experience. Looking at the website after being released, I realize there is a lot of false advertising. The website and directors claim the home to be a supporting, encouraging environment. However, there are many things that go on inside, that many don't see or hear of. Constant demeaning and patronizing are a few of them. Although great claims are made, the adults and staff here provide little to no care. Except a few which are as follows. Ms. Haught and Ms. Taylor. Over the course of my time spent here, these were the only people that seemed to care. I struggled a lot , and I'm not a bad kid. I needed some support more than anything. The home is most definitely lacking. I was not treated correctly, despite the claims of a Christian environment. Unlike the other reviews here, that are all adults, this one is from a past resident. I know what it's like to suffer there.
