We have had our Tinyjohn installed in our houseboat for about a year, and it has been a great upgrade. The installation was fairly easy once we had figured out the vent situation. Overall a good product and nice customer support. Well done Ecojohn!

Overall we are pleased with the tinyjohn and Ecojohn support. The price was a little bit higher than some other options but we did not want to go compost and our cottage has limited power. The package got a little damaged in transit, but Ecojohn was able to ship us a replacement lid that got slightly scratched up. We have it hooked up to our solar and propane tank, and it works fine. We have learned that cleaning out the ashes more often helps to keep it more efficient.

Had some communications problems with the toilet early on, tech support always replied with clear instructions and troubleshooting options. We couldn't get it to work so they sent me a new replacement. Very thankful for how the process went, especially these days when good customer support is hard to find.

I had a few questions about installation and a minor issue with the igniter, but customer service was very helpful. I called them twice, and both times they answered my questions. I like how Tiny John uses propane instead of a dedicated electrical outlet like the Incinolet. Sure, the Tiny John costs more, but you end up saving money in the long run because the Incinolet uses a ton of electricity. The Tiny John is also quieter. There's a bit of a learning curve if you've never used a non-traditional toilet. For example, you need to place the liner well and you need to avoid getting liquid outside of the liner. Also, you need to make sure that the air intake isn't blocked (I cut a special hole for it in my wall). Overall, this is a great product for situations where a sewer connection isn't practical. If you're sitting on the fence about it (like I was for several months), just go for it.

I have had my TinyJohn this entire summer of 2020. It has come in handy as it is cost prohibitive to put in a septic system and well. It is easy to use and the cleanup is simple. I had a compost toilet but with the mulch and continued cleaning it was very messy not only in the toilet but also in the bathroom. I have talked to the TinyJohn Team both on the phone and by email and they have been very helpful explaining how to operate the toilet.
