Im fairly new to the area. I was involved in an accident where I was T-boned and the ambulance brought me here. I knew something internally was wrong, as I couldnt catch my breath, emergency admitting didnt seem to care, they kept demanding immediate answers from me even though I told them I needed to breath to talk and Im having issues breathing. After a CT scan and X-rays it was determined I had a punctured lung that had partially collapsed. I was admitted for the night but still never saw the actual trauma surgeon. The doctor I did see made it out like it wasnt going to be a big deal. When I got moved to my room they had me with another patient. Later I found out he had some kind of a draining abscess because there was a bucket they left on my side of the room with his fluids in it and that bucket stayed there all the way up to check out The next morning they took me to xray, transport bumped me into pretty much anything in the way. After xray i was left out in a hall for 10 more minutes while transport used the restroom. The only treatment I received was a steady dose of injectable pain killers. No one could answer my questions or get me someone who could. 24 hours later I finally saw the trauma surgeon who told me to do breathing exercises and if I dont see lung improvement, come back. This is a brand new facility, but it didnt look that way. The elevator doors are all beat up, the place didnt look very clean. The general vibe I got was a staff that just didnt care.

Staff was very ruid, in the Er Amanda was a total unhelpful person. Took my friend there before 3 pm and we waited for 8 hours before she was seen I will tell all my friends and family. That the Er really sucks. Need to improve

I would not recommend Baptist Springhill Medical Center. My mother trusted our healt physician assigned to this hospital provide excellent quality healthcare. She was admitted to the ER by ambulance two times in one day. Both Physicians on duty denied my mother the medical attention required, when they both failed to properly evaluated her inflammatory bilateral knee pain, she was misdiagnose with arthritis, discharge within hours. She was discharge not knowing how she would be care for since she lived alone and could not walk. She died from sepsis 21 days later. I would like to prevent this happening to your love one. I implore you to carefully consider your options when it comes to selecting a healthcare facility; Springhill Baptist Medical Center NLR. I sincerely hope that no one else has to endure the pain and loss that our family experienced due to inadequate care provided by this hospital. I have contacted the administrator and nothing was done. Spread the word out to everyone.

Absolutely no stars. I took my grandmother there yesterday. She was discharged from Baptist in Little Rock on Wednesday. Fluid retention after feeding tube placement brought us to the ED at Springhill unfortunately. I chose to take my grandma home and treat her myself bc I witnessed so much havoc here. There were patients sitting around me with what looked like head injuries and broken noses. I went to the desk and asked about a time and was met with attitude. This is absolutely inexcusable. I work in healthcare and Im ashamed.

I went to the ER last night and waited 4.5 hours in the waiting room. The triage was done in less than an hour. Unfortunately they did not seem to take my pain or discomfort seriously. The gentleman working seemed very dismissive of me like he didnt care or believe that i was in that much pain. I had been throwing up and had diarrhea for 3 days already. Not able to keep anything down and literally the most uncomfortable ive ever been. I asked multiple times how much longer it was going to take just to get to the back. They couldn't give me an answer and said they didn't have any beds open in the back. Yet I had multiple people come in after me who were not in as bad of condition as me or another lady (who got there before me and came in on an ambulance). The ladies at the desk are very rude and short with you and lack customer service skills. I threw up 4 times while I was waiting, crying because I was in so much pain and no one seemed to care. After awhile of asking and waiting on someone to help me I ended up leaving. I went to a different er and was helped immediately. I was severely dehydrated and had a uti that had moved up to my kidneys. I understand that some people were more critical than me but a 4.5 hour wait in the er just to not be seen at all is absolutely ridiculous. When I say I will not be going back to this er. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.
