Super 8 by Wyndham North Little Rock/McCain

When we got to the room (114) it looked like the door was bashed in. It didn't close properly and left a gap. Then the floors were dirty! There was sticky stuff all over the table. I had to get a broom and wipes and clean the room myself (it was after 7pm). The TV worked for 5 minutes and went out. We didn't have TV for the 1st night. It took the next morning before they even did anything about it. We could barely sleep most of the nights we were there. The walls are paper thin. We could hear everyone talking or yelling outside plus hear everyone banging up & down the stairs or stomping around above us! Weed was everywhere at the hotel, & WE DON'T DO DRUGS! The beds were hard as a rock. Minimal, non-existant breakfast, and that was at 7:30-8am. Barely any hot water in the shower. Getting enough towels for the 3 of us was like pulling teeth!! We needed more than 2 full size bath towels for every day we were there. Desk clerk wanted to give us the small 1/2 size pool towels instead. I said NO! So I made sure the maid gave us what we needed each day. The dryer was awful. I paid $6 to run the dryer 3 times just to get my load of laundry dry. I was up past midnight because of it! Rooms: (note: there were no other rooms avail to move to on the 1st floor-which was where we needed to be)...When we got to the room (114) it looked like the door was bashed in. They tried to reset the satellite (Direct TV) and it didn't work. It took the next morning before they even did anything else about it. Turned out the wiring and hardware at the wall was loose and coming apart, and it stayed that way after they got the TV working again. I had to be careful not to put anything near that wall or the TV would go out again. We could barely sleep most of the nights we were there. The walls are paper thin. The absolute best BBQ we've had in years!! Safety: Weed was everywhere at the hotel, & WE DON'T DO DRUGS! Guests were drinking & smoking weed all hours of the day & night outside our room and throghout the hotel. I have a 12 year old. I didn't want that garbage near my son! Food & drinks: Minimal, non-existant breakfast, and that was at 7:30-8am.

Steve is the most helpful and friendly individuals I've met at the super 8 here in North little Rock. Never had an issue or complaint here thanks to him. Rooms: Good
