I took my first pole class in July 2023 and have been coming every weekend since. Britney is the best and makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Im not a gym person and this is definitely a fun way to exercise and gain confidence dancing, especially if you are shy/awkward like me.

I just came through Little Rock, and was able to spend time here for open gym. I can not speak highly enough of this facility. I called a few days ahead to reserve a spot, and the staff was so kind both on the phone and in person. I will definitely be making it a point to train here anytime I can be near, and next time will make sure I can stay long enough to take some classes! 10/10 recommend, fellow aerialists!

Arkansas Circus Arts is amazing for so many reasons. My family started out with one child taking classes, and weve grown to 3 kids and one adult taking classes there. Thats how much we love ACA. It began with one of my kids that has always been very strong and flexible, but gymnastics wasnt a good fit for her. Even though we didnt not want to go the competitive route, they wanted to train her that way because of the potential they saw in her. They didnt get to know her and disregarded our needs and goals. She absolutely hated it. I pulled her out and finally after she asked me to spot her doing something that I had no business trying to spotI told her we needed to look for a place and coaches that actually care about their students and not their agenda for their students. We went to ACA and observed a class and spoke in length with a coach/owner about our needs and their program. It seemed like it had the potential to be a good fit. We decided to one class a try during the summer. When my child was placed in a class, I spoke to the coach after the first class to kind give her a run down on my childs sensory profile, anxiety attacks, and what all of that looks like and what methods help to deescalate. Her coach was extremely receptive. She didnt disregard my concerns. She listened and put my mind at ease. The next week, the coach told me that she had done some reading on the particular conditions that I had mentioned and how to relate to the child and what to do/not do when working with a person with different support needs. (If you have a neurodivergent child, then you have probably experienced teachers disregarding the childs needs because of their beliefs and biases.) The way my anxiety was lifted and my child was supported because of her coachs willingness to learn and deviate from her usual methods when faced with a child having a difficult time was/is immeasurable. ACA has been a safe place for my child who in the past had dealt with ridicule and dismissive attitudes from coaches at other facilities. I get teary eyed every time I think about how amazingly inclusive and thoughtful ACA and the coaches are. They support, engage, and grow their students in ways above and beyond just circus arts skills. Its a safe place that allows for freedom of expression without fear. In my experience, that is a rarity.
