Im not a big review person publicly about a company or whatever but I want to share my thoughts on The Purple Door upscale resale that benefits The Serenity organization. I have been going there for years and Ive hardly ever left without purchasing something. I would say 80-90% of my clothing comes from there. In the past few months, there was a management change. The lady who was there before moved after working there 15+ years. She ALWAYS kept the place so clean and manageable. The clothes she selected to sell from the Donation Station were always top of the line and name brand. They were always in excellent used condition. No stains, no rips/tears and no piling of the fabric. Not just that, the prices were so affordable! I went in for the first time (since she had left) this past weekend. It smelled funky. It was completely overcrowded with racks of clothes. I dont think more than four people could have been shopping at the same time because it was so packed with racks of clothes. There didnt seem to be any kind of organization and majority of the clothing selection, I would have just given away to Goodwill. It was definitely a quantity over quality kind of change. The atmosphere and vibe was completely different. I am disappointed this is no longer my favorite to shop here in little Mountain Home. I would have left this review on their FB page but Im assuming I was blocked because I asked questions on there. I hope we can get another clothing shop with the same kind of quality and prices the The Purple Door once had.
