Super 8 by Wyndham Mountain Home

The Super 8 motel in Mountain Home has a friendly staff. My interactions with Dave, the manager, were always courteous and professional. It's very clean and a great value. Rooms: The rooms are very clean and efficient. Safety: The doors have a key card lock to exterior doors. Walkability: There are several businesses for shopping around for all your needs. There are several restaurants and fast food in the area surrounding the property

The innkeeper, Dave Patel, was very kind and friendly, and remembered us and our room number when we had to reset our key. He recommended some hiking trails around town upon our arrival, and was very helpful and friendly when I called to confirm our room. The hotel and room itself was very clean and lived up to our expectations. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a waffle maker, cereal, muffins, and some frozen options. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Mountain Home.

Decent breakfast options. Reception allowed me to check in early and I didn't insist on discount rate. Agreeable exchange. Room could use a redo. Upholstered chair and ottoman were stained. Traveled 12 hours for a family emergency. I got into town around 5am on Friday and saw online they had a 27/7 front desk so I checked in. Mr. Patel seemed irritated that I woke him up. Charged me for Thursday night and also Friday night even though I told him I may not stay both nights. I left the hotel at 8am to head to the hospital in Harrison (1hr away). I came back to the hotel at 1pm and told the desk person I wasn't going to stay the night and was staying at the hospital. Mr Patel said it was too late to cancel the room. So I was charged $125+ to stay in a subpar room for less than 4 hours. The bedding had someone else's hair in it, doors slamming starting at 6am and a child was running around and crying that early as well. Extremely unpleasant experience. I highly do not recommend.
