Beautiful little cabin with a beautiful view. Our cabin was well maintained, and Patty is a sweatheart. She was very helpful and had first aid supplies ready when I injured my foot on the rocks at the shoreline. My family and I will 100% be returning on our next trip to Mountain Home. Absolutely loved our stay! So quiet and relaxing! Pet friendly which is important to us as we have fur babies! Owners were very kind and very welcoming! We even extended our stay an extra night so we could enjoy it a bit more! We will stay there again! Thanks for making our stay so special!!

Away from the stress of the city lifestyle and still close to town. Peaceful and quiet and always something to see or do. Owners are above and beyond excellent. The value of family and friends is still alive here. A very affordable place for a family or private getaway short or long term. Rooms: Clean and comfortable beds with space and storage and not over the top Nearby activities: Boat dock and trails pool and firepits and so many things to do near by in all directions Safety: Very safe place and kept up Walkability: Many walking areas for you and your family or pets or everyone Food & drinks: None but room to bring your own just remember to pick up your trash

My wife and I booked a cottage between Christmas and New Years for 3 nights. We needed a pet-friendly place as our three long-haired dachshunds are part of our winter getaways out of Iowa. Patti replied to my questions via text from their website-posted phone number very quickly. I asked what the extra charge would be for our 3 dachsies and Patti replied that they didnt charge anything extra for dogs! Some other places charge per pet making the per-night charge unacceptable, but not here! We decided on Cottage #1. When we arrived, the cottage was just like the website pictures showed. It was the perfect size for us and our fur kids. For technologies, our Verizon phones connected to 5G cell service. The TV has both cable and streaming services for those winter evenings. We loved the location, the quiet time, and the great view of the lake. We enjoyed walking the lakeshore and visiting the dam and state park just outside Bull Shoals. Charlie and Patti were the best hosts from the first greeting to when we had to say our good-byes.
