Ferguson Home Inspections

Matt was punctual, informative and very detailed in his inspection. He does video to show and explain issues found. His inspection was comprehensive with photo documentation too. The Inspection package is put together very well and the issues are color coded by severity. All in all, the priced paid was well worth it.

I do Not recommend this company to anyone. He was hired to inspect a home I was purchasing, and he failed to disclose all the problems with the home and now it is going to cost me a lot of money to fix the home. He never disclosed that the home did not have proper electrical to plug up a refrigerator and there was an extension cord running behind the sellers refrigerator to the stove so that their refrigerator would work . As an inspector these are also things that should have been noted in the report , it is no mention of it in the report . I was advised by a licensed electrician that this is a code violation and the inspector should not have past this and in fact should have been mentioned because lenders do not normally allow this to pass. I have asked for our money back and he dont feel like he should have to return the money . Its costing us way more than this to get fixed.

Inspector Ferguson was early and setup ready to go. He did a comprehensive and thorough job. He inspected places that most people wouldn't think about. Polite and professional. A hard combination to find these days. If we don't purchase this particular house, Ferguson Home Inspection is a first call in viewing the next house. Price is in par with the others but the number of hours he spent, makes us feel he went above and beyond. Thank you Matthew.

Definitely would recommend! I'm a first time home buyer and had spoken with several different inspectors in the area. Matt Ferguson provided me a very reasonable price quote and good availability to get the inspection done. Upon performing the inspection, there were a few hiccups with utilities not being turned on and Matt stayed on site until the utility trucks showed up and got the utilities turned on so he could perform the full inspection. The inspection was very thorough. He called me and went over everything he encountered and explained in depth what the issues were with the home. The report was thorough and very easy to read and included many photos not just of the house but photos and videos of the issues he encountered. Highly highly recommend Ferguson!
