I had to drive an hour for this appointment, which I was overall fine with in order to get answers / peace of mind. That being said, three separate women came up to the front desk and clearly ignored me for 10 minutes before I was helped with checking in. There were two other people in the waiting room at the time, they noticed as well and commented on it. I was the last appointment of the day, and as the physician had been running behind, my appointment was rushed so I could have blood drawn before the phlebotomist left. I am completely understanding of that, and don't mind it as my problems were understood before I left. I did not receive a call once my lab results came in. I read them and all were within normal limits, but I had questions. As stated by the physician during my appointment, I would be called either way because we were going to discuss a medication being sent in. I called and left a message for the MA / physician. Received a call back a few days later that missed the mark - it seems my initial call to them was misinterpreted. That's fine, it happens. This time around she understood my questions and said she would pass them along. Mind you I had no ability to send a portal message as my appointment note took 2 months to be signed. Now that it has been signed, I still can't send a message. It has now been since 3/11 and I have not heard back. I do not want to set up an appointment to make the hour drive to little rock again for such a simple question. I'm unsure if the clinic is new or going through staffing challenges, but communication has been a struggle. While the physician, phlebotomist, MA were all kind, I don't recommend going to this clinic unless you live quite close. I have extensive clinical experience in both family medicine and specialty practices, and there are many kinks that need to be worked out at this office to make it worth a visit otherwise.

Was seeing Dr. Gamaira-Hilburn for a year with no improvement and no relief! Tried injections and several different medications and her diagnosis was osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Finally after the most frustrating visit where I felt my concerns and symptoms were not heard and taken into consideration, I found a new rheumatologist and have since been diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases ( SLE and PSA ) and on a treatment plan that has actually brought me relief! Run for the hills!!!!! No telling what condition Id be in if I would have kept coming here.

Met dr. Did labs. Nobody called or followed up. When I called the second time over 3 weeks after the initial visit to inquire about it, the receptionist, said the lab results were all in range. The receptionist.. I had questions. I didnt ask her my questions because she has ZERO idea about me, or my situation. What she should have said was the dr. or nurse will follow up with you shortly to address any concerns you may have. Honestly, this isnt the receptionist fault- she was filling in for poor internal processes- the Dr.s should have a process for following up. The whole experience so far has felt very dismissing. Beginning with the 4 months to even get in to see the dr and then not having any follow up. Not a fan. But I guess Im fine???

I have been a patient of Dr. Houk since August 2019 and I can honestly say that he and the staff are professional and very caring. Dr. Houk is very knowledgeable, thorough, and has done a fantastic job of addressing my rheumatological problems. All I have ever experienced is kindness and care and I am very grateful to Dr. Houk and all of the staff.

Staff doesn't do more than basically necessary. Waited an hour in hot room dry heaving. After hour and 10 minutes still no Dr.. Recommend research, reason no reviews.
