Review for Ben-Yay's Jonesboro, AR
In restaurants about 5:20pm
We ordered crawfish mac & cheese, gumbo, shrimp basket, and an order of beignets. They do have a bar. Took 50- 55 minutes to get our food. Our server was nice and attentive, but she apologized for the kitchen repeatedly. Said they only had one cook. Restaurant was not that busy, about 9-10 people at the time. Once the food arrived, it was pretty good. Gumbo was very green peppery. The beignets were undercooked and complete dough in the middle. We might give them another try, but they do need to straighten their kitchen out. We want good restaurants in downtown.

We have tried both and LOVE each side of the menu! Food was absolutely delicious Especially the biscuits with butter and strawberry jam!
