MONEY HUNGRY PROSTHETIC DOCTORS THAT GOT WORSE—EVEN AFTER THE OTTOBOCK COMPANY BOUGHT THE JP&O FRANCHISE. See our experience with JP&O AKA Ottobock below. Headache of a company. Took my dad to Jonesboro, Rogers, Mountain Home, and Batesville offices over the past 2 years. All of their prosthetic doctors kept trying to force him into the type of leg they wanted which were $75,000-$100,000 highly complex computerized foot and knee. They knew that our 20 percent copay was going to be over $10,000 and still made us sign the delivery paperwork that they knew we couldn’t afford. The doctors tried all different “sockets” and “liners” and kept us bouncing around their Arkansas offices looking for a better prosthetic doctor. We ended up firing them and using HANGER (after we tried Snell) this October and November. They are prosthetic doctors that only care about making money and not people like my dad.
