I want to say Thank You, to my Therapist Team TJ, Kara, Abby, Laura for everything you did for me to come home and to all my nurses, I thank you as well you went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible and to Dr Stipanuk thank you for being one of the most pleasant doctors to meet.
I recommend this facility for recovery from surgery or other medical issues they will treat you like family. I hope to get the same team of pt ot and my nurses and doctor on my left hip arthroplasty God Bless thank you from the heart

Encompass Health is an In Patient Rehabilitation Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.
My wife was admitted in Encompass in early December 2023, after spending many weeks in ICU / CCU / LTAC in Little Rock, AR following a severe stroke. From our experience, we found it to be a center of excellence.
Upon arrival in Encompass, it felt like we moved into a Ritz Carlton from some unbranded motel. It looked spacious, well-lit, cheerful and spotlessly clean. A team of nurses, technicians and therapists greeted us right away in the assigned room, answered questions and made sure that my wife felt comfortable and at-home. At the start and throughout her stay in Encompass, the staff were very efficient, upbeat and filled my wife with confidence about her recovery.
Everyone working in Encompass was competent, very well versed with rehab care, and went above and beyond their call of duty to help the patient.
Dr. Troxel, and his medical consults Dr. Rosca and Dr. Vellozo were very efficient in their medical care and in assessing patient progress. Dr. Troxel was very friendly and accessible and exuded positive energy.
Speech therapists Derek and Hanna Flowers were brilliant in helping my wife start to regain her voice and swallow functions. Nutritionist Ms. Brenda deserves special mention for researching and sourcing the proper formula for my wife's PEG Tube feed.
Also Amy (Gill-Tolley) was a super-nurse so efficient, so knowledgeable and so very caring!
My wifes recovery was way above our expectations thanks to the expert rehabilitation care she received in Encompass, Jonesboro. And for that, we are grateful.

Imagine making discharge decisions with a patient who has suffered a traumatic brain injury?. Encompass Rehabilitation of Jonesboro has the most incompetent program for the care of this situation you can imagine despite their advertisements specializing in this type of injury. They have made little effort in securing further care either. Administration fails to follow through on any promise they make. Please never entrust your loved ones care to them. Apparently they are unfamiliar with the term immediate jeopardy. Despite a TBI and subsequent diminished facilities, premature discharge would place him in immediate jeopardy to not only himself but to others. His impaired cognition is evidenced by his impulsive behaviors, decreased reasoning, profoundly impaired cause and effect (he thinks he can drive), profoundly impaired safety awareness (he eloped the facility at 02:00), profoundly impaired executive functioning, profoundly impaired judgment and abstract reasoning. There is little concern regarding continuum of care.
