      • Two Lucky Dogs

        Ken and Trina came through a 2nd time. This time we shipped home a 106.7 pound crystal platter treasure we named The Beast. Heavy to dig out, heavy to haul, and a beast to ship. Ours was doubled boxed with peanuts in the box and wow did we need the added protection. The outside box was slit, beat-up and crumpled but our contents inside the 2nd box packed with peanuts survived the rough ride.

      Interesting enoue it is handled by customs and released into gh, you were quoted Fedex pricing direct off of their website. Your shipment is carried by Fedex from the origin point all of the way through to the delivery destination in a time guaranteed service by Fedex employees. The choice you made was for USPS priority mail that is not a guaranteed time of delivery and is only handled by the USPS until it is put on a contract carrier, then put into the Netherlands postal system called PostNL. There , as history dictates, it handled at a less than stellar speed, hence the price that you mention reflects the service that you have selected. We have customers that have attempted the same thing that you have attempted, and have returned to us as the shipment that they tendered through the post office never showed up or took 90 days. Please update us on how your experience was with your delivery.
