I can not say enough good things about Mr. Josh Hurst. I've never been in trouble in my life and the very first legal case I had was a pretty severe one. I was desperate for an attorney but had no experience hiring one. I searched around for one I felt comfortable, completely countless number of online information requests on different law groups' sites. The ONLY one who contacted me in return was Hurst Law Group. The very next day, Mr. Hurst himself called me and was very helpful. He was up front and honest from the beginning. While I was racing to gather up his reasonable fee, things in court took a turn from bad to worse and I called Mr. Hurst, sobbing asking him for advice on a MAJOR decision. He hadn't been paid, didn't have to listen; but he listened to me and gave me realistic advice. He always responded back in a reasonable amount of time on his cell phone number. He was there in court on time with me the very next time. He wasn't as familiar with the courts in the counties I had my cases in but he presented himself as a very formidable presence. He even went out of his way to assist in a case of mine that he was not paid for in order to facilitate a positive outcome in the other case of mine which assisted in speeding up the first being dropped and the second one in coming down from a 20 year/10 year suspended sentence to a 6 year probation, 10 year suspended sentence. If not for Mr. Hurst, I would be in prison right now. He was so helpful, competent and compassionate that I could not have asked for a better attorney. By far I must say first communication is key when you hire an attorney and let me start by saying this attorney does not communicate at all they take your money and then you don't hear anything when you call you are told your attorney is to busy and will give you a call back and days go by an never get a call back you call again ask to speak to Jessica his assistant that's even worse she is there but doesn't take calls or answer any questions you ask.. I am a business owner and let me tell you communication is everything with a client. I feel they should at least call a client back lawyers are not cheap and when you pay them they should be on point and be there when you call or at least call back like they say they will and jessica the assistant if she worked for me she would of been fired by now!! At this point I am about to write a letter to the ethics committee and the state bar association...
