Under Arkansas state law, all cars made after the 1974 model year must have a catalytic converter approved by the EPA. Please don't buy from this company. They are straight piping cars as well as ripping people off! 850.00 down on my first car in nearly ten years, I'm in remission from a brain tumor which sadly made my early to late twenties extremely difficult. The suv I purchased didn't act up while test driving, but on the way home every bit of every fluid leaked out! I had my three year old with me and we barley made it to the mechanic in Huntsville. He filled everything and at the time, I wasn't aware of the leaks. I thought maybe they drained the car to refill it but forgot. Next day, slight jerking, day three, it was undriveable and I was left stranded with my babies until my dad could come from Oklahoma to get us. Full coverage was 250.00 so I was absolutely broke. I called them numerous times and was hung up on, told they'd call back and never did. When I finally spoke to someone she said even though I took out the coverage for motor, transmission and ect, it didn't cover fluids. I told her it's the transmission and the suv wouldn't even move, she became iritated and started yelling at me demanding the location for a tow. I didn't hesitate to give it to her but they refused to exchange to vehicle for something safer, or refund me, and basically they would fix it at my cost and on thier time and that it could take up to a month to fix. She wouldn't even defer the first payment! This was probably the most heartbreaking experience I've ever had dealing with a company. The sales women even knew about my situation with my health and still chose to lie in order to sell a car. They take advantage of people and how they treated a 80+ year old man while I was there signing papers should have made me run! heartless. Take your money to car mart, or if you are able, buy online. I'll be contacting BBB.
