The support Denver Street gives its members or perspective members in difficult times is far above and beyond what one would normally expect. The prayer support is phenomenal as well as physical, spiritual and emotional support.

This church welcomed me and my family with open arms. This church prays for its people and its community. The womans ministry there is great and I also love their childrens ministry and nursery workers. I would sincerely recommend this church. If youre on the fence about church, give this one a try. I think youll find yourself wanted and welcomed as I did.

Went here for a church "garage" sale, they had lots of good stuff and at good prices. One of the ladies had made mention about how they collect plastic grocery bags and weave them into mats to give to the homeless to sleep on and what not. So when the girl at Walmart bags up your items all in individual bags, save them all up and take them to this place, because while you're lucky enough to have a warm, dry, safe place to go every night, homeless people don't. I spent over 5 years on the streets and I can tell you for certain, NOBODY purposely becomes homeless. In the blink of an eye it can happen to anyone. I can't say I'll be showing up for Sunday services, but I'd like to learn how to weave plastic bags into beds for the homeless amongst other things I can do to advocate for them. It's difficult to think that God put me on the streets for 5+ years and got me out off the streets if it weren't to do some good for the people who are the TRUE minorities in this country and the ones who are all discriminated against no matter their color, gender, or religion. Sure do wish the media would get that right... Color, sex and religion are not the true source of discrimination in our country. Social status and a person's income are the real source of discrimination in America. (Sorry, I know that didn't really have anything to do with this church, but it's something I am passionate about and figured this was as good of a place as any to spread the word)
