I have been seeing Ashlea Brewer since 2019 when I met her at an inpatient facility. Shes absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough! Ashlea takes the time to listen to concerns and very much facilitates the type of environment where I can be a partner in my care and not just have things thrown at me. Ive followed Ashlea to Dauntless, and the whole team at Dauntless has been nothing short of superb. Im happy to continue my care with Dauntless and Ashlea!

Really, really terrible experience. Usually if I don't have something good to say about a business I just won't review, but it was so bad that I feel a duty to let others know---not too excited about giving out details of my personal struggles on google, either, but I feel like I have to to spare some other poor soul. There's a lot I could say about the process of signing up for a consultation/assessment, but it's not the crux of the matter---suffice it to say that after you request an appointment online, you'll get a curt one-sentence response that the scheduler will call you---after 3-4 days and no call, if you call The Scheduler you'll never get through, so leave a voicemail and then answer every no-name unidentified call for the next 3-4 days because if you miss the call you'll have to leave a voicemail....repeat as needed. Once you do connect with the booking folks, and explain that you're in real crisis from grief (or whatever--by the way, I'm really sorry for whatever is happening to you that means you're looking for help and therefore reading this review) you'll have to wait for 3 months for an appointment with even an APRN. So, I get it, offices are offices and paperwork has to be done, there's a shortage of providers, life is life. But the process has as much paperwork and about as much caring/concern as an IRS audit. The main thing is this----you know how sometimes when you're in crisis from grief and you're a little afraid to tell folks just how bad it is, they'll fear you're going to hurt yourself and overreact and put you on some kind of suicide watch? Well, no fear here, Dauntless will send you a texted survey thing about a week before your appointment, and when you take a big breath and decide that this is the one place you'd better tell the truth and answer the survey honestly, and the results say "you're at high risk for harming yourself"....well, no worries, because no one from Dauntless is going to call all worried about you. Then, after you finally get through the 3 months, and your appointment day arrives, hallelujah! Today somebody is going to care and help and you're on the road to feeling better, yay!!! Well, I was 20, 25 minutes late. I won't even go into why, just let me tell you that I wanted that appointment badly, and only crazy, crazy set of circumstances would ever make me late. So you rush in and say, "oh, my goodness I'm so late for my appointment, so sorry!" thinking, sure, it's so unfortunate that I'm late but at least I'll be able to talk to someone for half an hour, that's better than nothing!" Well, no. If you're more than 15 minutes late, you lose the whole appointment. So while your APRN is sipping coffee and enjoying the unexpected free hour, you're standing there, eyes welling up with tears, clearly in great distress, while you try to find your credit card to pay the $200 fee for being late, but does the receptionist say, "oh, goodness, that's so unfortunate, are you okay? We can't do the full assessment today, but how about I see if Ashlea (the APRN) or someone is available just to sit with you for a minute"? Or something....anything....really just anything. Wait, though, the receptionist did offer me a bottle of water while he was running my credit card and telling me I could reschedule for a month from now, and telling me I could apply half the $200 to a future visit (as if the money were the issue) so I guess I did get something, and wasn't just turned away from the one place one might reasonably assume there will be a higher level care/concern/professionalism than, say, the taco stand down the street. Come to think of it, if the taco stand folks saw me almost burst into tears, they'd probably have at least asked me if I was okay. So, sure, people are fallible, sometimes staff don't do something the way the owners/doctors would have liked it to be done.... but if was the whole process to get an appointment was unrelentingly unpleasant/unhelpful/uncaring---so how great could the appointment be once you got there?

The most unprofessional mental health services I have EVER received. When they couldnt find my records due to their own incompetence they called me a LIAR. Even though I have been diagnosed with adhd since I was a child and have been on the same medication for it SINCE I WAS A CHILD. When I came to an appointment but the fee was $300 ($150 more than I usually pay) I had to leave since they couldnt split up the payment. I told them I would come back after getting my taxes to do the appointment. They put it as a no call no show and FLAGGED ME. Just rude, unprofessional people who dont actually care about their patients they just want to make money. Ridiculous. Their only redeeming factor is their receptionist who is so kind and helpful. Hopefully he can find another job not working for such nasty people.
