Kenneth Osborne should be disbarred.. he refuses to give my friend his case file and he ignores calls from his family to obtain it for his direct appeal.. he has a current bar complaint against him on it.. my friend was sentenced to 15 years because ken Osborne allowed his rights to be violated repeatedly.. do NOT hire this firm.. if you need to read about it it is appeal no. 23-2482 in the 8th circuit.. this man is the worst attorney ever.. his prior secretary told my friend he never works on his case.. he violated the rules of professional conduct.. do not hire this man.

Ken took $10k to represent me and promptly checked out, if you like going to prison, losing your civil suit, or never seeing your child again I cant recommend him enough. Otherwise avoid at all cost. Ive seen junkies make better arguments than mr osborne.

Sammi Wilmoth help me get guardianship of a minor child that I had been solely caring for going on 18 months. I went into her office to get a consult to find out what my best options were and she sat down with me and walked me through everything then filed my petition that same very day. I was IMPRESSED on the professionalism she showed while handling my case. I would highly recommend that if anyone needs a good lawyer rather it be for criminal or family matters that you seek council at Osborne and Wilmoth Law Firm.. Thank you again for everything

Business Response on Google Feb 20th, 2024
Billy Joe Taylor represented himself prior to his guilty plea. Billy Joe decided to represent himself after getting crosswise with all of his previous attorneys. After he got crosswise with me, he demanded the right to represent himself, which he did up until the day he plead guilty. I was appointed as standby counsel. After pleading guilty, Billy Joe Taylor asked if I’d go back on the case as his attorney, not standby counsel, in order to receive the proper paperwork and other documents necessary to handle the plea process. I did not represent Billy Joe at any time when he made his decision to plead guilty. That decision was made by Billy Joe Taylor. As far as him receiving 15 years “because of Ken Osborne,” I would invite anybody that reads this review, to research Billy Joe Taylor and find out what happened. Samantha Brown lied when she stated “Ken Osborne allowed his rights to be violated repeatedly” because Ken Osborne did not represent Billy Joe Taylor when he made the decision to plead guilty. If Billy Joe allowed his rights to be violated, that was his business, not Ken Osborne’s. Standby counsel is in a standby position in the event Billy Joe decided he no longer wished to represent himself. This occurred after Billy met with the U.S. Attorney’s office and negotiated a plea deal on his own. That being the case, since Billy Joe represented himself, Samatha Brown lied in her accusation when she states, “This man is the worst attorney ever”. Since Billy Joe represented himself, he was his own attorney. After Billy Joe was sentenced, he once again demanded the right to represent himself. Once Billy Joe demanded the right to represent himself, he was required to file his own appeal. Billy Joe made the decision to enter a guilty plea, Billy Joe decided to represent himself again on the appeal, and now Billy Joe through his associate Samantha Brown wants to blame Ken Osborne for his predicament. I have provided Billy Joe Taylor, per his request, all information I am allowed to. In addition to all the information I previously provided to Billy, since he represented himself, it was up to him to get copies of the court record. Samatha Brown also lied when she stated, “this was needed for his direct appeal.” Nobody uses anything other than the court record for their direct appeal. This is a blatant lie by Samantha Brown, who clearly has absolutely no knowledge of the law and is simply a sounding board for Billy Taylor. Every document that Billy Taylor can possibly use in his appeal would be contained in the court record, which pursuant to the court order from the Eighth Circuit Court, was up to Billy to get, not Ken Osborne. This review is nothing more than an attempt to bully and harass Ken Osborne. There is no validity to it whatsoever.
