Mixed experience. The banker who assisted us was pleasant and professional, but when I approached the teller line to request her services I was snapped at by a female teller that well assist you shortly. She said it with practically a snarl. I was appalled by her rudeness. I approached her without being called up, so I cannot place all the blame on her. However, some banks do wait-to-be-called and some banks do walk-up-to-the-window. When I worked as a teller for Wells Fargo, my service manager & lead teller would have had my head for that kind of behavior. You stand, you smile, you talk. You dont stay seated, grimace at the customer, and scold them like a child. That is NOT community banking.

I was told I can cash a check after the lobby was closed to go threw the drive thru and I was told that they couldn't do it I have to wait and come inside but they are closed

Since COVID19 they have gotten to be a real pain to deal with. The lines are always really long at the drive thru and I just waited in line for a half hour to deposit an effin check. ****** I see a "Response from the owner" below this review (it looks automated). I am now depositing electronically at the ATM, so that does help. But why would I contact Arvest when my sub-par customer experience has already occurred? I used to really like Arvest; because access to my checking account in NWA is second to none with numerous ATM's and bank locations. However, Arvest is still slow when banking in person. To be clear, I feel this is an Arvest Operations Management weakness; and not the branch team members fault. I just feel Arvest needs to streamline the brick and mortar customer experience; because B&M is a HUGE competitive advantage Arvest has in this region. This is just my opinion and I am simply giving it because Google asked for it :)
