Smith Drug Co. Aka Bill's Pharmacy

The folks at Smith drug are always friendly and helpful, I have never had any problems getting my prescriptions filled here.

Super busy pharmacy in a very small town. Have been a customer for actual decades, since previous owners. Always very friendly staff, although theyre constantly dealing with people inside, at the drive through, on the phone!. Pharmacist will helpfully suggest money saving options when possible. Appreciate them all.

Generally I review things and give more than a fair shake when it comes to businesses. However. I've been disappointed by smith's twice in less than a month. Starting in March when their internet was down for a week and I went to have my RX filled I had my head bitten off when I walked up to the door to ask about it. I am a very understanding person as I work in the customer service industry but there's no need to be on the offense and short with people who didn't treat you poorly to begin with. Exhale and put your best face forward with everyone no matter how the person before them acted. It's a REALLY small town and people don't forget how you made them feel. Moving to currently Smiths pharmacist John refused to update my insurance properly and was even explained how to by my insurance company to which he said I don't have time and hung up on them. Even if a plan changes and the company shows you how to edit it so you can get paid he didn't have time and hung up. Calling them today the clerk ( the same one who bit my head off face to face) didn't let me finish speaking and transferred the call to John who said come in and he'll give me the money back. He said I needed to change the rx or go somewhere else. I asked him about the phone call and that he hung up on the insurance when they tried to help him. John's reply was well I'm already going to give you your money. That's not the point. How many other people have been over charged because they didn't have time to check or update the system. How many other people have insurance to help compensate for part of the cost of medicine are being over charged because Smiths doesn't have time?
