image This place deserves negative stars.
Over a year now since you scammed my daughter, and I see its business as usual (still praying on those that trust you to do your job BUYER BEWARE!!). Looking at the recent reviews, I see that the same HAROLD WILLIAMS is still treating women like they dont know what they are talking about and charging them for bad service. Come on HAROLD if it werent for your mom (a woman, I hope) you wouldnt be here to treat other women like idiots. Sounds like praying on women and young adults is your thaaang. How are you not in jail?

image I went in for an oil change, and they came back with a dozen things that needed immediate attention.
They said my spark plugs needed replacing- but they are brand new.
They said my brake pads are shot- they are also brand new.
There were several other things Meineke said was wrong, but when I took it to my regular, trusted mechanic, he laughed and said they were just trying to make more money off me.
I will never visit this company again. I cannot support businesses who try to swindle customers out of money unnecessarily.

image BE VERY CAREFUL. Unassuming patrons can easily be taken advantage of in a shop that operates in this manner. I'm a hobbyist mechanic (I normally repair my own vehicles- both minor and major repairs.) In this case, I was pressed for time and wanted to have a full inspection done on a vehicle ahead of a road trip. I called and talked to the front desk rep. He suggested I bring the car in for a FREE digital inspection. When I arrived, I explained what I needed to the front desk. He texted a link to my phone which I had to open and accept the charges before they began any work. At that time I saw a $99 diagnostic fee for me to approve. (1ST RED FLAG: They suggested the "Free Courtesy Digital Inspection" over the phone. My receipt even shows a "Free Courtesy Digital Inspection" line item for zero dollars along with $99 for 30 mins of diagnostics and testing.)
I asked if the fee could be waived in the event I had work done at the location and the front desk person said that could be arranged. At that moment, I moved forward with accepting the diagnostic fee. They were very thorough on the diagnostics with pictures and informative bullet points on what they found. I received a list of things that needed repair- front brake pads, 4 new tires, wheel alignment, spark plugs, windshield wipers, air filter and an oil change along with the price for repairs.
2ND RED FLAG: I asked if I could get a copy of the repair estimate to take home and review. That's when I was told that since I declined the repairs, I could not get a copy of the estimate. Had I approved the repairs, I would have received a copy of the estimated cost of repairs. Huh?! I explained that I did not have time to stay for repairs today but I would like to at least take a printout of the estimated repair costs home to decide which things I wanted them to repair and which items I would repair myself. They offered no solution to this very simple problem other than telling me to come back when you are ready for repairs and we'll give you a price at that time which you'll need to agree to on that same day before work begins. This is the weirdest thing I've experienced where a business is "secretive" with an estimate for repairs.
Since I paid for the diagnostics, I had the list of things they found wrong, I was simply asking for a cost breakdown to take home and review. The guy at the front desk didn't offer any solutions to providing me with an estimate to take home. From what I could remember, repairs were north of $2,000 which I knew did not cost nearly that much in parts (that was mostly labor/time cost)
BEWARE. You can easily be taken advantage of here if you're not knowledgeable on repair costs and parts vs labor. I felt like this company was trying to take advantage of me by pressuring me to agree to repairs IN THAT VERY MOMENT and not providing an estimate of repairs for me to take home and think through. Or for some people... to plan for the financial cost outlay. High pressure sales tactics just feel distrusting and my heart goes out to those customers who feel trapped in these situations and have been taken advantage of.
