I thought the hotel was new because of how clean and fresh everything looked when we entered the lobby. I was surprised to learn it opened 5 years ago. Front desk staff were friendly checking in and checking out. The fitness center was well-equipped and above average for a hotel. Theres an outdoor pool but we stayed in April so wasnt open. Location is perfect for passing through. Easy Highway access, near cheap gas, and Braums and Cracker Barrel in the same parking lot. I cant speak to location otherwise because we werent exploring Bentonville this trip. Rooms: Stayed in a studio with two queens. Apartment size fridge is more than enough space for a weeks worth of food. This would be great for an extended stay. Beds and couch were comfortable. Several outlets/ports for charging near the nightstand. The room lost a point because the roller shade was busted. Theres also no full length mirror. Food & drinks: Skip the free hot breakfast. The sausage was cold, no waffle maker, and the setup was disorganized, There was a staff person available (at times) to make a breakfast burrito. Otherwise the (not) hot choices were turkey sausage and some eggs.

Hotel is new but poorly and cheaply constructed. Particle board closet can only close if slammed shut. Black out shade not installed correctly so it doesnt fit in the guides and is ripped along the side. Child safety latch for the chain not installed correctly and wont protect a child from choking themselves on the chain. Window is theoretically able to be opened, but the way the blind is installed blocks the window from opening. The a/c unit was very noisy and not subtle. It blows a stream of cold air right on the bed, but quickly turns off and then on again a few minutes later. Fuse box wont close. Check out the sheetrock seam by the counterpictured-did the contractor care? Would be fantastic if the contractor paid better attention to the work being done overall. Marriott should have higher standards for their properties. On the plus side, good breakfast, handy amenities and a nice mini kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 comforter choices, one thinner (which was plenty warm) and one much thicker. The shower was good. The desk chair comfortable and the fridge and microwave handy. A good design but poorly executed.
