image I was scammed by the WalMart in Bentonville, AR. An employee used my debit information and made an online purchase for almost $1,000. When I contacted the ethics department, the rep told me that they do not handle that type of complaint and gave me another number to call which was actually the same number that I called. I called the ethics department again and another rep look my complaint and gave me a reference number and said Walmart will contact me in 7-10 days. I am not the only person who has had unauthorized charges put on their credit cards. Shame on Walmart and it's employees.

image Ordered 1318.00 worth of yard furniture. The payment was taken and we never received what we paid for.
Called Walmart and they would not replace the order and would not refund our payment.
The advised me that I had to contact the shipping company and have them pay us back.
This is crazy. Walmart has lost a customer for what probably cost them 1/2 of what I paid as markup.
The people in the phone were very inexperienced and would not raise my issue to a manager. I can find no way to contact corporate except snail mail. Which I will do.

image I ordered an item in late March, order #2000117-12597589, got a txt saying it was delayed, then another txt saying it was delievered same day. Never got it. 3 phone calls with customer service, still no item, but at least they are refunding the purchase price. Should have oredered through Amazon

image I don't know whats going on with the Milpitas Walmart in California, but the last few times I've been there the self check out stations have been closed off. Minimal registers with cashiers have been open and the lines were ridiculously long.....not good. I have cut my visits because of this and prefer to just run into Safeway or Target. Too bad, I use to love shopping at Walmart.

Walmart, why do you insist that every customer is out to steal from you? Especially ones that have been shopping at your stores for over 25 years and have never once took anything without paying for it like myself. In fact my very first purchase completely on my own was at a Walmart in 1999 when I was freshly minted driver. I needed a camouflage coat and guess what, I paid for it. Just like every purchase since.
The reason I'm bringing this up is the over the top receipt checks. Seems this started a couple years ago at the door. Back then it felt really random. Check out, make your way to the door, someone may Check your receipt or they may not. Now it's almost a guarantee you'll get stopped. But now it seems you (Walmart) have gone off the deep end. For example, the last 2 times I have shopped at one of your stores not only have I been checked at the door but at the self Check out too! Literally just as soon as I close the transaction, put my wallet away alone with the receipt someone walks up to me to verify my purchases. Beyond annoying!
Look I get it. There are plenty of people out there that are less than honest for sure. But is it the vast majority of your clientele? I'm willing to bet a months pay that if you line 10 people up and could some how find out if they stole from you, you might find one. I guess that's the difference between you and me. I tend to see the best in people.
So I don't like complaining without bringing a solution to the table. With all the money you guys make why don't you invest some in streamlining your loss prevention in regards to check out. With data tracking these days (looking at you A.I) you could easily track each and every one of us (if you aren't already). You can see just how much money I spend at your stores, how many times I have passed your final receipt checks, and use that data to reduce the amount of times you check me. I know it's crazy to think you might be able to actually trust a customer. But trust me it can be done! The TSA does it thousands of times a day with TSA pre-check and loss they are preventing is a little more valuable than yours.
I know this review will probably never be read in its entirety but I really feel you guys are missing the big picture. I for one have never seen anyone steal from you, but I have seen plenty of people at the check out leave items behind after a tough decision. I think that speaks more about the culture of Walmart and your customers.
