Castle Hills Apartments

Watched a young black male steal out of my neighbor's car IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. Watch your belongings here, the crime rate seems to be rising. And no cameras, neighborhood watch or security. And of course the gate is still not working.... I've been renting in Castle Hills for 11 years if that tells you anything. One story apartments, with only four units per building, all very spread out. Double walls between apartments. Beautiful grounds. Nice playground and well kept pool. When Castle Properties took over they put a lot of time and money into improvements. Maintenance is usually pretty quick to fix any issues, as long as you speak with the office and not the answering service. My only complaints are that the gate they put in was hardly ever used, and it would seem that they have been renting to anyone. The number of crimes and police calls has been increasing and there seems to be no efforts to stop or curtail these increasingly regular events. If it keeps getting worse, I might have to find a safer more secure location.

I have never lived here but it's a beautiful place. The pool is nice. They have a community room with TV and a washers/dryers. My friend lived here and I would visit her and her husband/kids often here. I will add her complaint here. She had a horrible time with the maintenance fixing stuff. There is a huge amount of hills/walking to get to the playground/pool/laundry. You couldn't just drive down there some of the time due to lack of parking spaces. They had the pool set up for "adult only" hours meaning the kids couldn't come. Yet, when it was open for the kids to swim, adults could join them and drink beer in the pool area. The people running this place would have parties at the pool with their friends and sometimes it would be drinking parties. Not sure that I would recommend this place based on my friend's complaints and what I noticed visiting her but it's super pretty. The playground is huge and awesome. I will say though the inside of her apartment was nice and there is no second floor here. I hate second floor apartments. It's so hard to haul stuff up and down and they are all on the first floor here.

I've been renting from castle property for approximately 7 years. I haven't had any problems with management or getting threw on the phone when I need to speak to someone. Everyone working in the office are very professional and friendly.
