This home on a beautiful quiet lake is large and comfortable. Unfortunately, the owners are unpleasant and left a terrible guest review of my family even though they acknowledged we followed all house rules. There were cobwebs everywhere, and I had to kill spiders. The stairs were filthy and there was hair all over them. The tram was broken and although they promised to repair it - no one ever came to repair so the trek to the lake was difficult. The kitchen ceiling had been torn apart for construction and wasnt repaired (they didnt mention this). We were told not to pull the sheets or do laundry and there was no instruction around dishes except to leave our perishables and trash for the service to take care of. However they kept most of my deposit and listed that we left the dishwasher full - of course we did! We thought that was the rule! We used the offered gas grill and it was filthy! We had to clean it before cooking our food on it. Loves the home - even with the issues, but the owners certainly didnt make a good impression. Too bad because I WOULD HAVE RETURNED AND WOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS PROPERTY. By the way - not cheap! Also, we rented their very outdated pontoon and when I called the local marina discovered they had way overcharged me for its use.
