Mary Beth and everyone working within Valley are disgusting. Me and my daughter were held against our will in the lobby. I will be filing charges. As well there was zero. AND I MEAN ZERO communication in regards to my child while she was there. I literally called every single day about her. No one would answer my questions OR even give me a call. Then when we discharged to go to another facility they called DHS us. Little did they know I had been in contact with DHS already about the maltreatment that was involved in my daughters care. Explained the situation to them to make sure I was in my rights to do so. So they were very aware. She lost 14 lbs while inpatient. She ate 3 burritos and 2 tacos as soon as I picked her up. Keeping in mind she normally can only eat maybe a burrito and a half. Shes not a big girl. This place is a sickening disgrace to anything psych. They are all in it for the money and not the kids well being. Mary Beth needs to be fired. The front desk lady Linda was very nice though. This place needs a Zero rating. No one should be subject to the treatment we both received.

I am a previous employee here. Staffing seemed to always be an issue there and was constantly understaffed. I picked up several shifts every week for days in a row. I had a trip scheduled that I had pto in for and was approved. Day before I left for my trip I received a message stating they needed to speak to me, I informed I wasnt in town as I was at an airport and asked if calling would be okay. They said they wanted to talk in person, I called numerous times, emailed and had even went up there personally with no response and was always told there was nobody there to help my concern atm. I eventually went and found a new job, pay is good but not for always being understaffed, constantly verbally and physically abused and management was HORRIBLE.

I really wish 0 stars were available, I'm hoping for many others to read this and consider what they're thinking when putting people in here, I've had my boyfriend soon to be husband have horrible nightmares about what they did to him here to the point he can't say, this is horrible...

I've been a adolescent patient at this place. When I was 13, I was thought to have suicidal thoughts, and hence, why they sent me there. First thing they did, since I am autistic, was send me to this room filled with chalk board and writings on the wall. I was so stressed out. I didn't think I was allowed to get out. Somewhere around the week, I overheard some nurses talking about me, and how I was too quiet. I felt bad, because I didn't mean to bother them with my shyness, but it did. I sadly didn't like some of the nurses. Some of them were very kind, but some almost treated me like a animal. Hearing those nurses talk about me in the hallway, just made me feel even worse, and I was breathing heavily out of control. I sadly bothered my roommate, though I didn't mean to. I had a hard time clearing my throat, because of how scared I was. The bathroom door, I had accidentally broke, and I didn't know what to do. It made me feel even more stressed. I am a very picky eater, so I sadly didn't eat the foods they brought to us. Instead of generic lunch servings, they gave me tomato soup and crackers everyday, since I preferred hot foods. I was grateful, and I admit, it was pretty good, but overall, the place is probably not the most ideal place to send your children to. I am 15 writing this, and I am traumatized. May god bless those who have had a tough time there, and overall.
