I went in for a Colonoscopy today. I never met or saw the Dr. Who performed the procedure. I didnt get a chance to ask questions of him. After recovery, I had to ask 3 times for something to drink. I was then just handed a piece of paper and kicked to the curb. Anesthesiologist and Nurse had no personally. The IV woman was the only person who smiled and actually engaged in conversation. That was pleasant. As with most Yuma clinics, I will now spend the time going to Phoenix. Small town, small minds.

Yesterday (12/08/17) I had a colonoscopy done at the Endoscopy Center--& had to comment.  The wait & procedure time was short--everything was very well planned and carried out--no discomfort or reason for complaint at all! Actually, it was the behavior of the staff that I really wanted to comment on--such kind, friendly, courteous, compassionate & wonderful people work there!  I thank them all, so very much--for making a very unpleasant procedure--as pleasant as possible!

This review is for the facility on Avenue B.  12-16-2019 Waking in recovery laying on my own wet feces was the worst.  Then when I asked for a cloth towel to clean myself up they said they didn't have any, they keep count of them...whatever that means.1.  Waited an hour. They called me to come in early, which I did.  Then after I checked in, I had to wait an hour.2.  Chairs in lobby not comfortable. The chairs in the lobby are straightback not very comfortable chairs.  People are going to have drivers wait for them, so the drivers are going to be sitting in the lobbly for 2 plus hours.  The chairs need to be upgraded to something more comfortable for people waiting.3.  Unprofessional staff and changing area.  The staff member who took me back to get ready for my colonoscopy was chewing blue gum, then I was asked prepatory questions in the hallway.  I was taken to a large bathroom where I was told to take off everything but my bra and socks and then to put on the gown. I asked if they provide non-skid socks, and she said no.  Then I was told after I changed into the gown to go out and get her (instead of pulling the notification cord in the bathroom).  When I changed and opened the door, I did not see her and had to walk out.  I put my on my shoes for my own cleanliness; I did not want to be walking around with my socks to slip and fall, too. 4. In recovery laying in my own feces and was told results of another patient.  When I woke up in recovery, I was laying in a wet bed.  When I pulled back the covers, I was laying in my own feces.  I asked for a towel and was told they did not have any.  I asked many times for a towel and she said she could give me wet paper towels. I wanted a wet cloth towel.  She said no because they count the towels. This made no sense to me.  Then I asked for plastic gloves.  My right arm was in a cast, so she brought a plastic bag to cover my arm, plus the gloves. It was extremely difficult for me to clean myself up on the bed; I am also right handed.  I can't believe this is sanitary.  After cleaning myself up and getting dressed, my husband was brought in.  We were told my results, but they didn't sound correct so I questioned them.  The medical tech realized she had someone else's results
