I was afraid of starting services. But the professional kind staff made me feel welcomed at at home. I feel safe in there care, they are concerned for your well being and listen to you w/o judgement Great group of people and I'm getting the care I need

I have never been more belittled or humiliated by a secretary who is supposed to make you feel welcomed when seeking or receiving service. I got called around a month and a half ago to re-do my intake to keep my sons services with company (which I chose to get my son, not because he necessarily needs it) I never got a call back. So today I called to follow up, so I could proceed with my sons services. While explaining my situation in a very professional manner ; secretary Maria would loop around everything I was saying and say she doesnt understand anything Im saying in a very rude, taunting, and belittling manor. She LAUGHED at me while I still took the time to try and explain more for her to understand & help. If I didnt know Jorge the case worker I wouldve cancelled services with this company right then and there (which Maria also gave me the option to do) She finally got the point enough to reschedule me but made it almost impossible for me to get an appointment at the time that best fit my schedule, ALSO making rude comments because I was insistent on a appointment @9, I even had to explain the reason as to why I needed it @9, and that any day would work, just to get me an apt at that time;I dont need to know other patients schedules. She was no help at ALL, I had to insist and push to get information to keep service, How could a person like Maria be working as a secretary for a company who deals with people who need help and knowingly make them feel like theyre worthless and still have the audacity to laugh at them when they're trying to explain circumstances, SO SHE COULD UNDERSTAND how to do her job. Im left in disbelief, This company is trying to help ppl and discriminating them at the same time? I couldnt believe how many times Ive recommended pathways and realize the treatment ppl are receiving off the bat, at a place that is for mental health. I usually give everyone benefit of the doubt but never have I been treated this way in all my years of life especially by a place that should be welcoming.
