Comfort Inn & Suites Yuma I-8

No wifi password makes guests at this property extremely vulnerable to cyber attacks. Room 326 had no working net speed and dropped connection frequently. The front desk staff did not know how to reset/where the router was that covered that side of the building and began to argue with me about there being an issue. This guy has been here too long and is taking complaints personally, responding in a smug and unhelpful manner. It's definitely not his fault for the lack of staff training and poor upkeep of the utilities. 326 either was connected but throttled down to kbs (unable to even watch youtube speed), connected to a router that needed a reset for some time with nobody on property with the knowledge/training to complete the task, or the coverage of your building's wifi just doesn't include large banks of rooms. I set up a workstation down the hall, where the wifi was working. I had to sit and stay in the hallway to complete work until midnight. Normally this would be done in the comfort of the room. I will not be back.

Noteworthy details: Julio and his beautiful morning assistant are unbelievably helpful, engaging and a delightful welcoming part of this hotel. Such fine and friendly people. Bravo.

Great reception at check in, accommodating and efficiency much appreciated. We were a group on a motorcycle road trip renting 3 rooms each night of our travels. Rooms were decent but a lesser standard than I usually see at a Comfort Inn however. This was disappointing considering the price charged, especially when we stayed at a Marriot in California, near Palm Springs the previous evening for nearly $50 less! That wasnt a last minute deal either, it was booked ahead just like this room in Yuma was. We were there in late afternoon so we sat outside at a table by the pool for a few hours before getting pizza from close by for supper. Hotel kindly allowed us to eat it in the breakfast room. I didnt partake of the complimentary breakfast so cant comment on that but I understand from the group I travelled with it was decent with enough choices to please everyone.
