I was promised certain repairs on my home before I closed escrow. Due to being out of state I was not able to pick up my keys until two months later. When I received the keys I found out repairs were never done. I called and called the coordinator until she basically ignored my calls and texts. I ended up paying on my own to do repairs that needs to be done. Do yourself a favor do not buy from this company!!!

Initially, I was told that I would close on Feb 1st. I then received email communication that the close would be Feb 12-15. On last Friday, Feb 3, 2023 my realtor abruptly texted me sharing that I am scheduled to walk through the condo this Thurs, Feb 9, at 2:00 pm. Never once did I receive any type of courtesies or options of days and times that was accommodating with my schedule. On today, Monday Feb 6, 2023, I received the notification cleared to close, and was given the option to close this Thurs, Feb 9th or the next day Feb 10th. After talking to my loan officer I learned that I could sign documents on Feb 9, 2023, but she would have to request to have the loan funded on Feb 15th. My realtor and loan officer further explained that I would be responsible for paying the interest on the loan for the days before Feb 15th. In a nut shell, my earnest monies gets thrown into the pot to get distributed, and of course the distribution wouldnt be coming back to me the buyer. Rather, it would be going into someone elses hands.
As a service member and recent transplant, I expected better treatment. However, I have come to realize that the home building business and all involved is nothing but a bunch of sweet talking smiling in your face to hook and bait you. Once they have youit moves on to the fast talking and what I call scheming, manipulation, lack of professionalism, and lack of communication so that at the end of the day the buyer is out of monies for what I consider to be a cheaply built substandard product.

I bought my condo Feb 2020, the amount of construction problems was insane. Electrical issues, outlets wouldnt work, if I turned on the garbage disposal when dishwasher was on it would turn off the dishwasher. Toilet in main bathroom was so off center you would be touch the vanity if you sat on the toilet. After many phone calls, finally got the toilet moved & floor redone. Carpet is also not the color I ordered. I ordered gray, its beige. They insisted the carpet was gray, no its not. I love my condo and the area, but boy was it a lot of hassles.

I bought a new home in Desert Sky which closed escrow at the end of June 2022. It is now October 2022 and after having to chase them up continuously they have finally finished. Laurie was my contact. She was completely inept and most of the time did not respond. I had to contact her boss to get help. After all of the problems I WOULD NOT recommend this company.
